Dear sailor
Welcome to the 2024 season at the International Sailing School, Royal Danish Yacht Club - KDY.
This year we offer the following six excellent modules:
- Start sailing
- Basic skills
- Intermediate skills
- Certificate of proficiency in Yachting
- KDY DS37 Skipper training
- Advanced Boat Handling

We sail the maneuverable DS37 sailing boats, originally designed for Match Race, on Wednesdays and Thursdays located in Skovshoved Harbor. You will sail Wednesday or Thursday from April 24th to September 26th except from July where we are away on holidays. In addition, you will be invited to “Come and sail” drop in sessions on Saturdays during the season. One of the highlights of the International Sailing School has always been the barbecue that crews take turns in organizing after the evening sail. Before we go out sailing, you are invited to our Introduction and safety evening on Wednesday April 17th.. For the specific dates of activity, please see the enclosed Calendar 2024.

Being a member of Royal Danish Yacht Club you will be invited to several social activities.
If you are already a member of Royal Danish Yacht Club, you only have to complete this registration form by choosing your module. Please inform us about your preferred weekday and choice of crew. The fee is DKK 2,750.
It is mandatory to be a member of Royal Danish Yacht Club to participate in the International Sailing School. For becoming a member you must sign up using this link: Become a member of KDY | A sailing club with traditions and community . Please note that our present membership year runs from October 1st 2023 to September 30th 2024.
We will organize teams during the coming weeks and revert to you by mid-March.
